Amadis FLV to DVD Creator is an authoring tool that allows you to create DVD movies with videos in your hard drive. It supports AVI, Divx, Xvid, MPEG1, MPEG2, ASF, WMV, DAT, H264, H263, RM, RMVB,3GP, 3GP2, MP4, M4V, MPEG4 video formats as input (but requires you to download codec packs not included).
With this application you can burn a DVD disc or build DVD layouts to hard disk selecting TV Type, Aspect Ratio, audio codecs and audio volume, allowing you to play videos from your computer in your home DVD player.
This program is easy to use and has an intuitive interface but it lacks some desirable features (like for instance a preview window to watch your videos or a menu editor to improve the aspect of resulting DVDs), so it is not my first choice when talking about DVD creation tools but if you want to give it a chance, a free limited trial is available for download at the developer's site.
